In 2014, JwJ convened labor and community organizations to support the Movement for Black Lives, organizing actions and workshops, mobilizing labor contingents to marches and deepening member education around M4BL. In solidarity with the #FreedomNow actions, we organized unions to sign onto a call on police unions for accountability around police violence. JwJ put on an event around the Vision for Black Lives platform and hosted an organizers exchange with more than 20 organizations to further their M4BL solidarity work.
